Why Do I Need Twitter?

Last week I made an appearance on The Global Geek Podcast. It was great fun chatting with Dave (aka @The_Rooster) and @Cait about Twitter.

During the show we endeavoured to answer the question, why do I need Twitter? I’m not sure if I really answered the question, but do give it a listen if you feel so inclined, especially if you’re not yet sold on Twitter. I know I am!     You?? Addicted to Twitter?? I find that so hard to believe. Wait, let me go get a few responses…

    Well, as @susanreynolds said when I asked the Twitterverse “addicted to twitter? John @jjprodjects, Now @StarrGazr you KNOW he’s hooked & half his stuff we dont see cuz he’s up during our night :)”

    Well actually Tracy, this is totally true. You don’t see much more than half of of stuff on Twitter because of that. The fact that you see any of it shows just how addicted I am. Also, having a new baby keeps me up at the oddest hours these days :P

    Why does people like to be thoughful about twitter… men is just a PUBLIC IM, or a stupid small blog system, you don’t need twitter, you just twitt because you don’t have anything to do in that particular minute(of 15 seconds), but the interesting thing is the easiness on how you twitt, and thats a very simple and easy to implement idea… but yet very useful and powerful.
