This is just great. Now you can pull Friendfeed comments made on a blog post in Friendfeed back into your blog via Disqus. You can also post a comment to the Friendfeed comments right from your blog post.
A lot of commenting going on these days is happening in networks such as Twitter and Friendfeed, so this is a great new feature from Disqus and I’m sure it will be popular. It seems to work well too, no hitches so far.

UPDATE: There was one big hitch. The comments I tested from Friendfeed took aaaaages to update to my blog post, but replying from them back to Friendfeed was almost instantaneous. See the comments on this post for details.
Friendfeed Post:
“Yep, it’s hot in Sydney today, 39C is 102F”
It eventually got to 41C/106F. This was on Saturday during the Australia Day long weekend.
I think I’ll start using another weather app on my iPhone, this one said it was only supposed to get to 33C that day.

flickr Post:
It’s funny how people go to the Apple Store just to surf the web. It seemed like most of the people were there to do that. I wonder how many sales they pick up that way? They also have free WiFi, which I was using on my iPhone while waiting to pick up a new iMac.

Friendfeed Post:
“A relative bought a printer/copier for $49. The guy in the shop said “you don’t buy new ink cartridges, you just get a new one”. Geez, no wonder the environment is fucked.”
