Bio
John holds over ten years’ experience using online social media (long before it was called that). He has been working in the digital marketing field for ten years, starting as an interactive designer and digital art director, which led into being highly active in new social media. He holds a Master’s degree from the University of Sydney.
Over the past three years in particular, John has become a keen advocate for the purposeful use of new social media. John has a particular interest in using his skills to benefit projects that involve social and environmental responsibility. During 2009, he headed social media for WWF’s highly successful Earth Hour global campaign.
