Some Users Really Hate Facebook’s Acquisition of FriendFeed (Hitler Video)

Speaking of FriendFeed being acquired by Facebook (see previous post), this video of Hilter reacting to the news is pretty funny, and a nice extension to the series of these “Hilter finds out…” videos. Of course, you really have to be a regular user of FriendFeed to get many of the jokes.

Ben Stiller’s Irreverent Intro To Facebook

Ben Stiller has joined Facebook and has made a typically clever and funny video to introduce himself to Facebook fans. It comes across as irreverent but honest and sincere, well sort of, ha. As I said on Twitter, if you want a million fans on Facebook in just a few days, be Ben Stiller, that’s all there is to it.

Apart from being funny, this video is another reminder of just how far Twitter has moved into mainstream pop-culture. We now have William Shatner reciting Sarah Palin’s tweets for a few laughs on the Tonight Show! Over the past two and a half years or so, it’s been fascinating to watch Twitter go from a relatively small geek community to a mainstream pop-cultural phenomenon.
